Operations Commands
These commands are used for various operations on a ship or station like remote operation of shuttlebays or airlocks. Operations officers are usually also responsible for logistical status, like fuel and cargo supplies.
Logistical Commands
reload <ship>:<amount>:<warhead ID> -- Reloads <ship with <amount> of <warhead ID>. <ship> must be docked orlanded at the reloading vessel to be reloaded.
refuel <ship>:<antimatter|deuterium|both>=<amount|fill> -- Refuel <ship> with specified type and amount.
vent <antimatter/deuterium/-/+/off>[=<amount>] -- Vent fuel. ('-' is all antimatter, '+' is all deuterium)
Status Commands
fuelstat -- Lists fuel levels.
fueltime -- Time remaining to empty tanks at current consumption rates.
stores -- Torpedo stocks.
Control Commands
seal -- Seals airlock inner door.
unseal -- Opens airlock inner door.
alopen -- Opens outer door.
alclose -- Closes outer door.
pressurize -- Pressurizes airlock to 1 atm.
depressurize -- Depressurizes the airlock slowly.
sbopen <shuttlebay> -- Opens <shuttlebay>.
sbclose <shuttlebay> -- Closes <shuttlebay>.
[un]clamp [<ship>] -- Clamps/unclamps indicated ship, preventing depature, or lists clamped ships.
Cargo Commands
Cargo Management
cargobay [<name>:[primary/independant]] -- View status/allocate.
manifest [<bay>] -- List cargo contents for all or single cargo bay(s).
transfer <commod>:<amount>:<src>:<dest> -- Move cargo between cargo bays.
loadcargo <ship>[[:<cargobay>]:<commod>:<amount>/all] -- Load cargo onto a docked/landed vessel.
unloadcargo <commod>:<amount>/all[:<bay>] -- Unload cargo while docked/landed.
jettison <commod>:<amount/all> -- Eject cargo.
Market Interaction
markets -- Closes outer door.
marketscan [<planet/station>:][<market>] -- View market details.
buy/sell [<market>:]<amount>=<commodity> -- Trade with market.
Communications Commands
This is a list and short description of all communications commands:
comminfo -- Gives a readout about the current communications status.
addfreq <freq num> <freq name> -- Adds a frequency to the database. <freq num> must be a number.
remfreq <freq num> -- Removes the first channel that uses <freq num>.
rnmfreq <freq name> <new name> -- Renames a frequency.
open <freq name> -- Opens the channel to allow recieving and sending transmissions.
close <freq name> -- Closes channel, not allowing recieving or transmitting on that channel.
encrypt <freq name> <encryption code> -- Encrypts that channel with <encryption code>.
transmit <freq name> <message> -- Broadcasts <message> over <freq name>.
hail <freq name> <contact> -- Sends a hail to contact over the specified channel.
mayday <freq name> -- Sends a distress signal with you vessel's position over the frequency indicated.
trace <on/off> -- Activates/Deactivates Subspace Tracing feature.
Communications Tips
Most things dealt with in the area of communications are fairly straight forward, but a few things do require explanation.
- The trace command will toggle the option to have the ship report the heading to the source of each transmission.
- If you see a bunch of jibberish instead of an actual message, the transmitting vessel's encryption is different than yours on that channel.
- To hail a ship, you must have sensor contact with them.
- Communications range is determined by the basic power of the communications array on the ship and the power allocated to communications in the engineering power allocation setup (engstat).
