Starfleet Divisions

Starfleet is broken down into several divisions, each having a different role on the ship or starbase in which the officer or enlisted person is assigned.
| Division | Uniform | Role |

| Command | 
| Officers/crew assigned to this division are command-level officers and are usually charged with authoritative positions. |
| Operations | 
| Administrative/Support Services. Many officers within this division may easily transfer to command positions. |
| Sciences | 
| Stellar sciences including biology, astronomy, stellar cartography, library science, xenobiology, astrochemistry, astrogeology, physics, and astrophysics. |
| Medical |
| Officers/crew assigned to this division are charged with the physical and mental well-being of their crew. Medical officers include Doctors, nurses, interns, counselors, and other medical-related fields of study. |
| Engineering |
| This division is charged with the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems which their crew depends on. |
| Security |
| Officers/crew assigned to this division are charged with internal/external security of ship/station/bases they are assigned to. Subdivisions include Counterintelligence, Starship Security, Station Security, and Base Security. |
| Marine Corps | 
| Officers/enlisted assigned to this division are members of the Starfleet Marine Corps. Subdivisions include the Marine Expeditionary Forces and the Marine Corps Air Service. |
